A Little Awesomeness for your Monday!

Maybe it was all the Olympic spirit that was floating around or maybe it is just what one year olds do, either way...we have a little WALKER cruising the halls now! Here is a video of the little Bruce Jenner in action, as well as a few others that are sure to make you SMILE!

Let Them Eat Cake...Lots and Lots of Cake

This past Saturday Davis had his big birthday bash! He invited all his family, fellow baby yogis and many other friends to celebrate. This kid sure knows how to through a party! We had a great time visiting with everyone. Davis' personality is really starting to show and we can see that we have a social butterfly on our hands. Every time a new guest showed up, Davis' smile just got bigger and bigger! It was a wonderful time had by all...now where to put all these toys?

Just a Little Off of the Top

Davis got his first hair cut today! I'm not gonna lie, Mommy was a little nervous as to how this was all going to go down...but Davis did GREAT! He was such a rockstar! Davis and Dad both had hair appoinments so we stayed to hang out with Dad while he got his trim. It was really fun for Davis because he got to meet lots of new lady friends. Bringing a baby to a hair salon full of women and was like moths to a flame!

Davis was very concerned that she would cut off his curls in the back...don't worry girls, they are intact!

We walked in with a crazy haired boy and walked out with crazy hair in our pocket.

Today was the big day...the big O-N-E that is! Davis had a wonderful day: we started off the day with mom going in late to work (since she is normally gone before D wakes up), then daycare and then Davis had pizza, cupcakes and presents with Mom, Dad, Greatgrandma and Pops! Thanks for all of your birthday wishes! If we have learned anything from Davis this year, it is that cupcakes with lots of icing are the bomb diggity and that ice cream is way to cold to eat!

It Came Outta Nowhere!

It was just one of those days for Davis. The poor guy was just minding his business at daycare, trying to walk and boom the classroom sink came out of nowhere and got him in the head. Ok, it was more like he was creeping along the sink and feel into the metal pipes beneath, but non the less....ouch! He has big ol' egg the diameter of a quarter on his head. Just another story to tell all the girls at school.
