Christmas...round 4

So what is the only perk of having our families spread out between three different cities? Almost a whole month of Christmases. On the 16th we packed up the sleigh one last time and headed up to KC to celebrate Christmas with Davis' Grandma and Grandpa Allard and Aunt Whitty. We all had a great time except for the pesky stomach virus that made Mom, Dad and Davis sick sick sick! It was all good in the end though, because hey, family and presents make everyone feel better!

Davis about to unwrap the traditional 'most annoying present' from his God-Grandparents the MacLeods...and yes, it makes lots of noise!

Who needs presents when you have the wrapping to play with?

Our future ski bum!

Daddy's new sox hat...'what's yours is mine' is Davis' favorite quote.

Davis is ready to learn how to ski..Cannon Mountain is where his Mom first hit the bunny slopes!

This is Davis' dance machine. It is a table that plays lots of songs Davis loves to dance to...video will be coming later!

SNOW DAY!

Well, it is Sunday, so it is not like Davis got a day off from school or anything, but it is snowing! It has been snowing for 18 hours and it is still coming down. We dressed Davis up in layers upon layers and we all went outside for a little fun....

Davis' new ride that he got for Christmas (it is an ATW, the SUV of the wagon world)...the ladies love it!

"this was fun...until you put me down in the stuff"

Falalalalalalalala....

Happy Holidays friends and family! We hope that everyone had a wonderful holiday season! Davis has been a very busy little guy these past few weeks, in fact, if Mom or Dad wanted to plan something in December, we had to check with Davis to make sure he didn't have something planned! Apart from the craziness, we had a wonderful Christmas. Christmas Eve was spent with Brian's family, as well as Christmas day. Kristin's family, sadly, got snowed in in KC and could not make it down...who would have ever thought that a blizzard would have kept us apart in the Midwest! Davis missed them terribly! We will see them in a few weeks and can't wait. The day after Christmas, we headed to St. Louis to see Davis' Grandpa Riedy and headed back in the snow on Sunday. We were so excited that Davis had a white Christmas, and he was relieved that Santa had a nice snowy roof to land his sleigh on! Happy New Year and we wish you all the best for 2010!

SDC with friends, we loved it but are not sure if the babies understood what was going on!

Somebody found the presents at Great-Grandpa and Great-Grandma Gilbert's House!

...and he found some more

...and more, what a ride!

Dad and Davis on Christmas morning. Davis was a little nervous about what Santa would bring because Santa was VERY scary at the mall!

Santa was VERY nice to Davis

"Dad, why is the snow so cold?"
